The stunning art of log building has been ingrained in Anthony Hodson from an early age.

 Growing up in a family of log builders, Anthony had years of hands on training in the craftsmanship of quality custom log homes before even graduating high school. He began helping his dad at a young age by peeling logs, scribing rough notches and chiseling final notches ahead of his dad so they could be cut. He has also spent many long hours grinding, sanding or using a paint scraper preparing the logs for staining.

His refinishing experience began as an after-school job working for his dad while in high school. Riding whichever school bus was going near the current job, he would then work until dark when his dad was ready to go home or his mom picked him up on her way home from work at the local hospital. Hard work and pride in a job well done has propelled Anthony toward a successful business in the log home industry.
